Police investigating a youth riding a four-wheeler on baseball fields ended up arresting the boy's uncooperative mother.

A woman was arrested June 4 after she refused to cooperate with officers investigating the report of a four-wheeler being driven on the baseball fields behind Euclid Public Library.

When police responded to the complaint, they saw the vehicle on the baseball fields and then followed it to an address on a nearby street. The woman at that address admitted to police that her 12-year-old son had been riding the four-wheeler but refused to identify herself or her son.Man who threatened co-worker found with mini arsenal: Euclid Police BlotterWhen police stopped a vehicle on June 3 for a traffic offense, they found that both the driver and front seat passenger had warrants for their arrest. After the man in the passenger seat got out of the car, officers saw a gun underneath the seat.

Residents reported June 7 that various items were stolen from their home when someone entered while it was unoccupied. No forced entry was reported.A woman called officers on June 7 to report she had an unwelcome guest in her home and feared he could become violent. The man had a gun, the woman said. The man had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and was not permitted to possess a firearm due to his extensive violent criminal history. Police seized his handgun and arrested the man.
