When agents interviewed Hardin, he “maintained that despite his two decades of police service, he did not realize he had broken the law on January 6 until he received a call from the FBI case agent.”

A former Salt Lake City police officer escaped jail time for taking part in the attack on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

On Jan. 7, the FBI received an anonymous tip that Hardin had been inside the Capitol during the insurrection. According to a statement from the FBI, Hardin called a friend two days before the Capitol was stormed to say that he was going to Washington, D.C., to “fight for the United States.” The FBI also obtained video of Hardin at several locations inside the Capitol, and determined that his cellphone was there on Jan. 6.

Geez! These sentences for trying to overthrow a legally valid election are a joke. Had this terrorist been anything but white he'd be in Federal prison for years.

They say a man's brain doesn't fully develop until later in life. Exhibit 1A

So, a liar - he didn't know breaking into the Capitol was a crime? - as well as a criminal. Wonder how many other lies/criminal acts he participated in during his career? Kelly is a Trump appointee and has been a member of the Federalist Society since 2009. Should be treason

Salt Lake City hopes its decision to extend a moratorium on new shelters for people experiencing homelessness will force homeless people into other cities, allowing Salt Lake City to breathe a sigh of relief and declare the problem 'solved' Yeah, good luck. 'Other' cities in Utah prefer to be their own little Rich fiefdoms with poor people shoved out to carboard boxes on the outskirts. Ridiculous logic! There are so many more business dollars in Salt Lake City than in surrounding suburbs.
