Recent snowfalls may slow water level decline at Lake MeadWhile this wet winter likely won't solve the water issues the southwestern U.S. faces, it at least may provide some relief for the rapidly dropping water levels at Lake Powell and Lake Mead. abc15 I think the amount of rain and snow we have had in Arizona has significantly improved our water levels in other Lakes across the state. The Salt River system is almost at capacity. The Colorado River system is not the only water system that we rely on.
