Fight between 2 women ends in deadly stabbing in Midtown

Phil Taitt has the latest on a deadly Midtown stabbing.The search is on to find a young woman's attacker after she was stabbed to death On Tuesday night in Midtown .The deadly incident was caught on camera.Just a few moments later, the woman at the center of the police hunt can be seen.As the fight ensued, the young woman was stabbed multiple times as onlookers stood by.

"The city is unsafe. But it's not like it used to be. I mean before we did have crime obviously but not to this magnitude. It's overpopulated with homelessness mental health issues so it gets chaotic. One argument to another and then it leads to this," Juan Hernandez, New York resident, told Eyewitness News.

Police tell us the suspect is a woman wearing a white shirt and blue jeans, that got away down 8th Avenue.The identity of the victim has not been released pending family notification.
