Federal court lifts CDC rules for Florida-based cruise ships, while the U.S. CDC try to fight a Florida lawsuit challenging the regulations.

Children needed more support in speech and language than in previous years, the Education Endowment Foundation reported.-based cruise ships are no longer in place under a ruling Friday by a federal appeals court, while the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention seek to fight a Florida lawsuit challenging the regulations.

The lawsuit, championed by Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, claims that the CDC’s multiple-step process to allow cruising from Florida is overly burdensome, harming both a multibillion-dollar industry that provides some 159,000 jobs and revenue collected by the state. The CDC, however, said keeping the rules in place would prevent future COVID-19 outbreaks on ships that are vulnerable to the spread of the virus because of their close quarters and frequent stops at foreign ports.

Gyms and cruise liners are a cesspool

No cruises until they make them safe.

I’m confused 🤔

DBagDeathSantis

Well, good luck to that industry. Will be a few years before I even think of taking a cruise. Some are willing to die for a cruise and so be it. Retired people do not have to miss time off work because they are sick or in quarantine. Why not do away with it also. l

🙄 if they're in interstate commerce, fed rules apply.

Ships of the Dead

Florida is over regulated thanks to DeSantis. They don't like you speaking out either. They will block you like big-tech just to complain about big-tech. Florida is horrible. SOSFlorida

Who the hell wants to be on a cruise ship right now

I thought Republicans were all for allowing private companies running theirs business however they want?

I don’t get why the CDC or courts have anything to do with this when the company is wanting to require something. It’s their ship, if they want to require that you show them you’re wearing green underwear before boarding, you show it, or go home.

You won't want to be in Florida in 6 months.

So we have a state governor who is fighting an industry and attempting to reduce its effort to make a cruise safer for the entire family.DeSantisDisasterZone

good luck

Appeals court blocks CDC Covid restrictions, allowing cruises to resume from FloridaA U.S. appeals court late Friday blocked federal Covid-19 restrictions that had vastly cut back the number of cruise ships operating from Florida's ports. The stupidity of this country is staggering at times. This is NOT what the cruise industry wanted. Yes, this is what the Red Hat Goon Platoon wanted, just “because “.

U.S. appeals court finds CDC eviction moratorium unlawfulA U.S. appeals court ruled on Friday that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention lacked authority for the national moratorium it imposed last year on most residential evictions to help curb the spread of the coronavirus. So, all the vaccine deniers are getting evicted? *shrug* Great 😒 So the answer for equal protection under the law is to just become a landlord, I suppose.

Biden says CDC will advise unvaccinated kids to mask up in school this fallU.S. President Joe Biden said Wednesday the Centers for Disease Control is likely to advise that kids who haven't been vaccinated against COVID-19 should wear masks when they return from summer holidays to school in the fall. That won’t work. Unvaccinated kids, esp. teenagers, are not going to stand out by wearing masks. Instead, they will continue to spread the virus, causing break through cases and harming those who could not get vaxxed due to immune issues or allergies issues. Mandate them.
