Has anyone set their watch to count down how long it will take for some vaping advocate to argue that ecigs probably protect against epilepsy? (3 million adults and 470,000 kids, so 35 cases in 10 years ...) hey! there's a new marketing angle!!

Heres an idea, dont start

That's 3.5 per year out of 10 million users. 0.00000035%

35 in a DECADE? That is a microscopic percentage.

On average, 130 Americans die every day from an opioid overdose

35 people out of millions of users? Sounds rather acceptable.

35 people died in 10 years that also happened to vape? this seems more like an advertisement FOR e-cigs lol

35 out of how many? I am sure this report is entirely legitimate. 😂😂😂😂

That's like 4 people a year or 1 person in 3 months. I'll take my chances.

Nice propaganda, big shoots. Tell us again the one about dihydrogen monoxide.

That is literally statistically irrelevant :D

What a pressing issue.. shush

I bet some people reported siezures after taking a brisk walk in the nature. Should I be afraid of fresh air?

By that standard peanuts kill more. relax.

35 in 10 years... so that's like 1 out of hundreds of thousands or even millions in 100 days in all of the US? why is this newsworthy, again?

Here's an idea: stop smoking. Don't start vaping. Simple.

So that’s 3.5 people per year reporting seizures over a 10year period. LOTS of people using these ecigs if it were actually correlational that number should be a lot higher.

Because they over do it. If you watch all they do is puff.... 5 secs puff. .... 5 secs puff. It's crazy. And the nicotine they put it in is more than cigarette half the time. 1 boy I know did it just to look cool. & now he is hooked, he will tell that.

Considering the amount of children consuming tide pods, this doesn't surprise me.

How many people that have had seizures over the past decade were milk drinkers? Or dog owners? Or fucking joggers? Correlation =/= Causation

cjsnowdon regulate e-cigs now!! 😂

Remember Kids, Nicotine, like most drugs, is highly poisonous in large quantities. If you get hiccups that's an early warning sign that you've overdone it. Never drink ejuice, always follow the instructions. If you're not addicted to nicotine, don't start vaping.

I still don't even know why vaping ever became a thing.

Only 35?

I’m confused, did you write this article in favor of or against vaping?

35 out of hundreds of thousands. That's why people don't trust the media.

Considering how many times people have vaped over the last ten years if only 35 of them had an adverse reaction that’s actually very good statistics. An extremely small percentage.

35 out of how many? More third-rate nonsense from USAT.

FDA proposes mammogram changes for first time in 20 years to identify breast cancer earlyWomen with dense breasts will be notified that they are at a higher risk of developing breast cancer and that X-ray results aren't always as accurate for them. Yes I have dense breast I found a lump in 1999 and was told it was dry milk. In 2013 they found a 10 pound tumor in that same breast. I was diagnosed with stage 3b inflammatory breast cancer. I was belittled, blackballed, and terminated by my oncologist. This is a good change. If a girl knows she has dense breasts, and mammograms aren’t reliable for her, what else can be done? Ultrasound, MRI? I couldn’t get the hospital to do an ultrasound even with orders from my oncologist. I hope this will make thorough testing easier.

FDA, FTC send warning letters to three CBD marketers for false medical claimsThe FDA and the FTC sent warning letters to 3 companies that market cannabidiol products, saying the companies are making false claims about treating diseases such as cancer and Alzheimer's. Even as a Republican, I believe Marijuana should be legal. The economic gain that would be had from it, is incredible. Also more research can go into studies regarding the health benefits. Would love to see a story on why Denmark is banning the burqa 🤣 Great to see the FDA and the FTC are doing their job on this. Thanks to all the government employees who are trying hard to stay on top of this emerging market.
