Brian Luallen, CEO of Fair Park First, which oversees the management of Dallas’ Fair Park, is no longer with the organization, officials told the Dallas Morning News.

Last month, Luallen released a statement alleging Oak View Group may have used philanthropic dollars meant for capital improvements on day-to-day operating expenses.“If the inaccurate and unauthorized reallocation of funds occurred, it is a significant matter and shakes our confidence and trust,” the statement said.

In 2019, the City Council privatized the park and handed over management to the nonprofit organization, Fair Park First. At the time, Fair Park First signed a contract with Spectra, a venue management and hospitality group, to manage the park’s day-to-day operations. Two years later, Spectra was bought by Oak View Group’s hospitality division, OVG360. The contract carried over despite the change in management., City Reporter.
