I love how the “big news” is that Facebook places articles on its feed that it thinks you’ll like based on your likes, cookies from other sites etc. Groundbreaking

All findings can be condensed into one truth: FB algorithm's maximize engagment to deliver more users to advertizers. Disinformation and anger has high engagement (so has cute kittens). Moderation can never stop this since the amplifying algorithm is Facebook.
