When I first came out to LA, the Sway boys opened me into their house and lifestyle with open arms. I owe Sway a lot of my success. At the end of the day, the boys didn't have to let me move in with them. I'm still so grateful for everything that they've done for me. We've had fun times together, very cool things that we've done together in terms of our careers. While we don't all live together in a house anymore, we're all still Sway boys at heart.
17: From starring in music videos and hosting your own web shows to investing in companies like Triller andVincent MuiRecently, me and a few of the Sway boys started a venture fund together, obviously with some help from other big names, managers, and business partners. We're all just looking for companies that align with our passions and whatever stuff we're into.
With me being an athlete, I don't really drink soda, I usually watch what I eat and drink. Because of that, Poppi seemed to be the perfect thing to align with what I like. It's a healthier substitute for soda and the brand really gets social media, so it just made sense. I really just believe in the founders and their vision, because as someone who does social media as well, they do really well on that front.
17: Speaking of being well-rounded, you've recently dipped your toes in the fashion industry. What has it been like to go from wearing athletic gear in your soccer days to rocking luxury brands like Louis Vuitton and Calvin Klein?Honestly, I've been so blessed and grateful for all these opportunities I've been getting and I've just been going with it. Kind of like my show on AwesomenessTV, I literally just want to try everything and see what I like.
I love fashion. I don't even know if I'd call it a passion of mine, but it was always something that I really enjoyed.
