Exclusive: Buster Murdaugh denies ‘vicious rumors’ tying him to cold case

Buster Murdaugh made his first public statement on the death of his high school classmate Stephen Smith, telling NBC News in an exclusive statement he denies having any involvement in Smith's death in 2015.

Buster Murdaugh has broken his silence around rumors of his involvement in the death of classmate Stephen Smith."I haven’t spoken up until now because I want to live in private while I cope with their deaths and my father’s incarceration," he continued.for murdering his wife Maggie Murdaugh and youngest son Paul Murdaugh, putting a spotlight on the powerful family in South Carolina's Lowcountry.

The saga of the Murdaugh's continue. Stephen Smith's family are the real victims. He should welcome an investigation so it can help clear him of all wrong doing. Then he will be left alone regarding that particular case.

I don't think it was the son having a relationship with the victim think to who was coming everyrhing up taking pills taking money. If the father and the victim had a relationship follow the money a rich guy would have bought him stuff.
