EU to Respond to China’s Hong Kong Moves

The European Union and its member states will take coordinated action to respond to China’s tightening grip on Hong Kong, the bloc’s foreign policy chief said Monday, including looking at export bans for sensitive technologies, widening visa possibilities for the island’s citizens and reconsidering extradition arrangements.

The planned moves, while modest, mark a significant sharpening of the EU response to China’s imposition of a national-security law on Hong Kong and offer fresh evidence of a hardening attitude toward Beijing...

Glad to see the EU working step by step slowly. Since some weapons of the HKPF is from Europe, these measures may possibly be helpful to ease PoliceBrutality. Maybe the EU can also consider moving supply chains out of CCPChina, just like that the US is doing and Foxconn did.

And maybe remove the Taiwan 🇹🇼 flag cause that seems to upset the CCP, and the EU will not want to upset the CCP.
