and killed all 157 people on board, followed all recommended procedures but couldn't regain control of the doomed flight, Ethiopian investigators told reporters Thursday morning.
Based on the initial report, Ethiopian safety investigators recommend Boeing reviews the aircraft flight control system of its new 737 Max 8 model and that avian authorities verify the flight controllability has been adequately addressed by the manufacturer before resuming operations of this jet, according to the transport minister.
"We did not find any information regarding the FOD on the aircraft," Amdye Andualem, chairman of the Ethiopian Accident Investigation Bureau told reporters at Thursday's press conference. "The data provided by the FDR doesn't indicate that there is an FOD."
AceHoffman because Boeing actually moved the wing locations on this plane, it effectively became a totally new air frame. one that had NOT been certified. but because they still called it a '737', they just slid it in under the radar. and it STILL isnt certified, and probably never will be.
What was the total flight time of each pilot and what training had they received?

So the plane has 2 AoA probes, but only uses input from one at a time into it's Air Data Computer. So if the one it's using malfunctions, the plane thinks it's stalling and pitches nose down. How about use both AoA probes, for redundancy/reliability?
