Skylar Celeste Boone Searching for employment can be stressful and difficult, but one group has a community job fair at Troy University’s Dothan Campus on Monday that can make things easier.
“If you have a business and people don’t know about you, they can’t support you,” said Mackroyce Corbitt Jr., chair of the Entrepreneurship Council. “Even if you just have information, still get a booth, come out and share that information. If you don’t have anything to do, it’s a holiday. Just come on out and enjoy yourself.”
People are also reading… The companies that have joined the job fair include Alfred Saliba Family Service Center/Mixson Business Center, Troy University IDEA Bank, HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology and Short Stuff Photography and many more. There will be at least one food truck at the event. There is room for more trucks at $100 per spot. The Entrepreneurship Council said it needs at least one more food truck to secure for the day. They are looking to have about 30 to 40 vendors before Friday’s registration deadline.
