This marks Aniston's seventh Emmy nomination overall and her first in 11 years. Aniston — who won the award for outstanding actress in a comedy series for her work as Rachel in the hit NBC sitcom— was last nominated in 2009 for outstanding guest actress in a comedy series for a spot she did onwas recognized with nominations in several categories. Aniston's co-star Steve Carell was nominated for outstanding lead actor in a drama series for playing Mitch Kessler.
The series was also nominated for outstanding production design for a narrative contemporary program; outstanding directing for a drama series; and outstanding main title design.

There's a reason why. It's the Emmy calendar. To qualify for this year’s awards, shows must have premiered between June 1, 2019, and May 31, 2020. Look at how many people of minority have multiple awards? You can get nominated as that is the bare minimum and so people get off their back but winning is all about politics.
