Since there were only 13 eligible multi-cam comedies submitted for consideration this year, the category couldn’t exist. Per the Academy’s “rule of 14,” there needs to be 14+ entries in order to qualify Depends upon who was in The Pilot Program, TOO. Too many networks don’t give their sitcoms enough time to breathe to attract an audience. Big Bang wasn’t a huge hit from day one. The constant knee jerk reaction to cancel multi-cam sitcoms is killing this style of show. I hate to say it, but why not they give out Emmy's by the bucket's now, the value has been greatly diminished over the last decade. Everyone gets one now. They just don't have the public impact you think they do.
