Elizabeth Olsen Defends Scarlet Witch MCU Story In Doctor Strange 2

Elizabeth Olsen defends Scarlet Witch's arc in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Wanda Maximoff returns to the MCU after the events of WandaVision, but this time she embraces her full villainy as she stops at nothing to get what she wants — to live a simple life with her sons, Tommy and Billy.

“I am [satisfied]. I think somehow it needed to end where it ends at some point, and I’m curious about where we go from there.

I thought it was a great movie and she did an excellent job, but might’ve been better as her own separate movie - it felt less like Dr Strange and more like a sequel to WandaVision.

Scarlet Witch was never a well liked hero in the comics anyway

And the way a multiverse works, you can still have the characters that got eliminated, stop the whining. They do something different by making a good guy turn into a TOTAL 'bad guy'... THAT'S her arc, you goofballs. 🤣🤣 DrStrangeMoM

I’m irked because she lost so much, grieved in a really bad way but she had no one to confide in. No one befriended her. She had no one, the MCU gave her no support, only loss for so long. Wanda needed help. May she rise as a mutant in another multiverse so Wanda can get a redo.
