A crash involving a Los Angeles Police Department vehicle left eight people, including two officers, injured Friday night.
The crash happened shortly before 8 p.m. near East 107th Street and South Central Avenue, said Officer Rosario Cervantes, a police spokeswoman. In addition to the two officers, two children and four adults were hurt, the L.A. Fire Department said.At the time of the crash, officers were responding to a call with their lights and sirens on, said a watch commander with the LAPD’s South Traffic Division.Times staff writer Matthew Ormseth contributed to this report.
It's always the cops fault, right? No one can think that it's NOT ok to commit crimes that police therefore have to chase them down for. If someone steals a car, you want the police to do nothing? What if it's your car? People just stop committing crimes and chases won't happen
Stop chasing people!
Same thing happened to my cousin. LAPD responding to a call, drove on the opposite side of the street speeding. Hit my cousin head on, pushing him into 4 parked cars, sheared the tire off another car, and ' I'm so sorry' was all they had to say. The situation is still pending.
Precisely why I stopped riding this filthy, germ-ridden train of piss, vomit and 💩. Dangerous, unhealthy and never a cop in sight. Shredded TAp cards with don’t know how much $ on them.
Another day in LA
Wow who was driving the car? Can you work in one more instance of passive voice into the story? Do better.
