DAHSHUR, Egypt - Egypt opened to visitors on Saturday the “Bent” Pyramid built for pharaoh Sneferu, a 101-meter structure just south of Cairo that marks a key step in the evolution of pyramid construction.

They will also be able to enter an adjoining 18-meter high “side pyramid”, possibly for Sneferu’s wife Hetepheres, opened for the first time since its excavation in 1956. The angular shape contrasts with the straight sides of Sneferu’s Red Pyramid just to the north, the first of ancient Egypt’s fully formed pyramids and the next step toward the Great Pyramid of Giza.

Well Where are the people who claim they are the real Egyptians in every comment section about ancient Egypt 😂😂 looks like they don’t like this pyramid 😂😂😂😂😂😂

If it's bent like that then it isn't a pyramid, it's a just a convex heptahedron.

Egypt’s government must open the doors of its jails and prisons and free the falsely imprisoned; opening the pyramid empowers the dictator👿 sisi is both dictator and a dicktator 👿

Lets party with terrorist like it's 1999.

"It appears that around 400 BC, the pharaohs of Egypt began packing up all of their earthly possessions for some recreational camping on the banks of the Nile," said Dr. Tarek Hilal of Alexandria University, noting that the pyramids&39; dense outer walls and sharply angled faces would have been perfect for keeping rain out. "Furthermore, it seems that the extensive hieroglyphics showing spirits embarking on a journey to the afterlife was their way of telling spooky ghost stories."
