Can someone explain why these countries are fighting over water? Clearly, there’s enough here

What a relief, I thought they cloud be a huge confrantation among those Nile countries, such a good news, thousands of lives been saved by this agreement.

And once the dam is built, then dig the river bed deep, make it water-proof, and then build walls on the river-bed right across the river-width.. every 1 km. Then when the dam overflows, the water is stored.

Ethiopia contributes 86% of nile water.Egypt contribute nothing to Nile water but act like they have right to control .Stop your madness Egypt as Ethiopia has full write to use the resource they have on their land !

Fun fact: The Sphinx was originally a statue of Anubis carved from the ground but it's head broke off. Probably from an earhquake. So, later, some d-bag had what was left of it's neck carved into his image, blah, blah, blah. It's clear from the obvious erosion, the body and head.

And if they don't agree fuck em. Ethiopia needs and must continue with the construction of DAM.

Damn

Huge step.

I think Ethiopia has a right do what they want with their land, this river is in their country and it’s source is in their country

Donors pledge $1.8 billion for Sudan's troubled transitionForeign donor nations pledged $1.8 billion at a conference hosted by Germany to help Sudan ease an economic crisis hampering its transition towards democracy after the fall of strongman Omar al-Bashir. What about Yemen? Throwing money at a complex problem is not going to fix it. The leadership in Sudan needs to be willing to embrace democracy. Then the trend needs to continue for future generations. If there is a reversal every time a new leader comes in power, you are just pissing away money. Ojee..
