So how likely is it that the person in line ahead of you at the coffee shop could be infected with COVID-19? Local data offer clues to hot spots.

But by another measure Texas is in major trouble. A team from Dartmouth has created anot just how many new cases local areas are seeing per day but how quickly the overall caseload is rising each week. And the top three localities are in Texas — including the Corpus Christi area, where cases rose more than 15% over the past week.

"A cluster has to be pretty severe in order for the state to emerge as a hot spot," the University of Chicago's Kolak says. Yet the history of the pandemic thus far has shown that isolated flare-ups can eventually widen out with catastrophic consequences. Examples include between Southern California and Arizona as well as along the Mississippi River — with cases high in both the Memphis, Tenn., area and across the border in Arkansas.

Well if you look at the serology and antibody tests you figure everyone has undercounted the cases by a factor of at least 10.

If more people show positive exposure for antibodies doesn’t it mean immunity is developing?

How likely is it that the person in front of me at the BLM protest/riot is infected? Right, zero, Covid doesn't attend protests, right?

Make your own coffee at home. Problem solved. You're welcome.

I can see Iowa. It is the Cyclone State.

These are the paranoid wasteful sort of thoughts, I try to avoid throughout my life.

San Diego County cases, info provided by County Health Dept.

I cannot believe that NPR lied to us about Hydrochloroquine just to prove the President wrong. How many lives were lost because of it?

It is VERY likely, even in areas where there are few cases; you never know who is coming into your area or who has the virus but no symptoms yet! That's why distancing and hand-washing/disinfecting areas is SO IMPORTANT, and will be for quite a while longer if you want to live!

Went to the outdoors gardening section at a Home Depot to get a few plant pots; the cashier was wearing a mask that was pulled down to his chin; just as I was about to go up and check out, he sneezed ...

In the past two days I've dealt with a business owner whose entire labor team has tested positive and he waltzes into my shop without a mask. Yeah, he was charged extra

Funny part is that coffee at home is incredibly easy and fast. So in my opinion if you go to a coffee shop and catch the covid you are ..

I haven't been to a coffee shop since February.

Does not matter. Treat everyone as if they are infected with it. Stay away from people and wear a mask.

The bad thing about county-based local data is, if you live in a county like mine, whose health dept. has given up, no testing here, and surrounded by larger counties w/ high s & everyone traveling back & forth, this may be an unreliable metric to use. You really CAN'T know!!

No virus here

Most of us have already had it, with no issues. This is a nothing disease

We have to carry on with our normal life People are really overanalysing this virus and the media are still scaremongering as usual

Fear mongering and doom and gloom everyday from the MSM. DefundNPR

As identified on/from Twitter: Flight Log to Jeffrey Epstein’s Island:

The msm is sad. Wake up! Get less woke. Just give the facts, the news. Your overplaying the anarchist, anti-American BLM and the virus. At least you and the other msm channels now have what you want, all liberal viewers.

Do what we can to help each other. (and wear a damn mask)

Right. It is a game of Russian Roulette and there are more bullets in the gun with each passing day.

'This week a team led by researchers at Harvard came up with a rating tool with four tiers:'

So, let’s get ready to go back to school. What good are a bunch of liberal teachers anyway? (Said with sarcasm- I’m one of them)
