DFW Weekend Forecast: Rainy and cooler weather on the way

The weekend will feel more like early spring than April with highs in the 60s and widespread rain on the wayMost of the day will be rain-free, but it will be cloudy and cooler. Highs will be in the upper 60s to low 70s along with gusty winds from the northeast.

Can't rule out some late day showers or storms, but most places will be dry for any Friday evening plans.Almost all of North Texas will see rain on Saturday, but it may not all happen at the same time. Simply, rain will likely be falling somewhere in North Texas at any point during the day, but not everyone will see constant, all-day rain. More areas than not will likely be seeing rain during the day.The severe threat looks very low, but we'll have to watch for the potential of some flooding issues in areas that see the most rain.Sunday will start off with some lingering showers, but they should quickly move out and come to an end. Most of Sunday will be dry.
