Eight-month-old Nicolette Karimi spent five days in Children's Medical Center in Dallas , including two days in the pediatric intensive care unit amid a surge of pediatric RSV cases. Her ordeal began Halloween night when she struggled to breathe and was eventually diagnosed with respiratory syncytial virus , COVID , adenovirus, and rhinovirus.
She was released from the hospital on November 5th.
