Cuyahoga County ranked 70th of 88 Ohio counties, scoring poorly on low birthweights, sexually transmitted infections and deaths due to injuries, among other factors.

The rankings looked at factors such as rates of smoking, obesity, education, mental health, exercise and other factors that influence health.

These Counties scoring high tended to have higher household incomes, less income inequality and lower rates of children in poverty and uninsured adults. The County Health Rankings measures the health of nearly all counties in the nation and ranks them within states.from a variety of national and state data sources, some from past years.
