Don't miss our weekly town hall.Police have released body cam footage that shows District 10 Councilman Marc Whyte being pulled over for suspected driving while intoxicated. ThumbnailHis court hearing was set for March 25, but now has been delayed to May 14, 2024, according to the County Court 11 office.

The warrant states that Whyte was driving 80 mph in a 65 mph zone and not using a signal as he moved between lanes.The officer on the scene reported smelling a strong odor of alcohol from Whyte. Whyte had also refused to give a sample of his breath and blood at the scene, which is why police obtained a blood draw warrant.
