Republicans could lose control of the Senate in November and still confirm Trump's nominee, but it's unlikely Democrats will let that happen without a fight.

Republicans don't need to retain control of the Senate in November to put President Donald Trump's nominee on the Supreme Court.

Trump is expected to announce his nominee on Saturday, and Republicans, who hold a 53-seat majority, have support from the 51 senators needed to move forward with the nomination.

Lol what an absurd question

That's a good question.

If the republicans lose the Senate - they have lost the POWER to stall, obfuscate and stack the courts. After what they've done the past several years, they deserve no consideration, none whatsoever!

Is this a real question? Are you asking us? Answer: Yes.

They’ll do anything they can get away with...

Sure they can...plenty of time between Nov 3rd and January.

Yes. 3 words. Lame. Duck. Session. And they'd do it purely for revenge.
