Good morning, Central Ohio! A fast-moving low-pressure system dives into the region this morning to produce rain/snow showers. A few slick spots are possible on the roadways with Central Ohio picking up 1-3" of snowfall, especially on grassy and elevated surfaces. Snow will taper down later this morning with clouds gradually clearing out. Temperatures will only reach the low to mid-30s this afternoon. Clear skies will allow for overnight lows to plunge into the low 20s.
While it will be a cold start to Sunday, temperatures rebound with highs in the upper 40s and low 50s. Mostly sunny skies are on tap as a high-pressure system controls the area. Dry conditions persist into Monday with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. Our next weather maker arrives by Tuesday with scattered rain showers possible. Tuesday will be our warmest day with highs in the mid-60s. There is a chance for a few thunderstorms as a cold front swings into Ohio by late Tuesday and into Wednesday. Rain moves out Wednesday with cooler air filtering into the region. Temperatures will be cooler yet comfortable in the 40s on Thursday with more mild temperatures possible for the first week of March.
