We’re kicking off the month of April with a warm, cloudy and breezy day. I don’t expect a lot of sunshine, but it will be warm. Afternoon temperatures climb to the mid-80s with a north wind gusting around 30mph this afternoon. We also have a severe weather threat. A line from Columbus, Brenham to Lufkin have a chance for damaging thunderstorms.
The threat is much higher near Dallas.Rain is possible in Houston late tonight, lasting through Tuesday morning. Rain totals range from a trace to a tenth of an inch. Skies clear tomorrow afternoon leaving us with beautiful weather for the middle of the week.The solar eclipse forecast continues to look cloudy and possibly rainy in southeast Texas. The path of totality may also be cloudy.
