A Juniata County substitute teacher has been charged with possession and dissemination of child pornography, according to the state attorney general’s office. Peyton Harris, 20, of Mifflintown, was a substitute teacher at Juniata and Newport high schools and served as assistant manager for the Juniata High School track team.

Harris held a party at his home where he provided alcohol to minors, investigators said. During that party, he took photos and videos of minors engaged in sexual activity without their knowledge and shared the photos and videos on social media, according to the release from the AG’s office sent out Wednesday.

This case is being prosecuted by Deputy Attorney General Kristyne Crist. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 30.If you know anything about the case or other incidents involving Harris, call Trooper Micheal Short at Pa State Police-Lewistown barracks at 717-320-1010.
