In honor of the centennial anniversary of New York state parks, officials rappelled down the Rim Trail at Watkins Glen on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, to raise awareness about staying safe while enjoying the parks.
“We’re celebrating the diversity of our system, but we’re also celebrating the diversity of what we do,” said New York State Parks Acting Commissioner Randy Simons.
