When tragedies like school shootings happen, journalists quickly follow in huge numbers, putting communities in the world’s spotlight in their worst possible moment.

These are the typical signs of the invasion of journalists that accompanies such events.

Most parents are grateful that the media is there to press the police for answers. It’s the LE community that’s angry about being asked questions. Without the press, we wouldn’t have known that it took 78 minutes for LE to attempt to neutralize the shooter while kids were (1/2)
