GMA Earlier this week, K-pop megastars BTS finally gave fans the first tease of new music of 2019, as for their upcoming single, and there was one very big surprise that could have major positive repercussions for the tune.

Without any preliminary numbers available , it’s safe to say that BTS’ new single “Boy With Luv,” which will be featured on their upcoming album, will make it to the Hot 100...but where will it land? All signs point toward the top, and it’s not out of the question to predict that the as-yet-unreleased cut may become their highest-charting hit yet.

Halsey is not just one of the most interesting and talented people currently churning out hit singles, she’s also one of the most successful, and she has the numbers to back up that claim. The singer has now landed a pair of No. 1 singles on the Hot 100, including her most recent release “Without Me,” which owned the listing for one frame earlier in 2019. That song is still going strong, and it’s not about to disappear anytime soon.

By adding Halsey to “Boy With Luv,” BTS is reaching out to her fan base, potentially putting their new single into the ears of people who might not have listened to their music before. Also, Halsey is a favorite when it comes to radio programmers and streaming industry people, and her presence will surely give the single a better chance of racking up radio play and landing on important streaming playlists, and both those things will help it reach more people and rise on the charts.
