A brazen thief stole a Salvador Dali etching valued at $20,000 from a San Francisco gallery, then walked off down the street with the work in his hand.
Rasjad Hopkins, a gallery director, said he was working alone and may have turned his back away from the front of the store, where the piece was displayed on an easel facing the window. The etching normally was secured with a tether, but it wasn't at the time of the theft, Hopkins said. Although art thieves sometimes have clients who pay for certain pieces,"I think it was a theft of opportunity," Hopkins said.
SFPD won't even arrest people defecating on the street in plain view. Odds that they are going to do any actual investigation into this are slim to none. Also, is Corrupt News with AMERICAN BLOOD ON THEIR HANDS!!! ABCisScum
No it’s not gonna end up on EBay cause the person who wanted it paid this guy to steal it. The surveillance just happened to be off? Someone inside got paid too.

With mass communication-you really couldn't sell it -the police software would pick it up, or a Confidential informat see it etc.
Well that is just ridiculous. The thief is probably involved with museum in an insurance scam.

Are we sure this is actual footage or could this be a Bulgarian prank from 2013? I guess we never know with after the piss poor job they did with the Knob Creek gun range video
Is this doctored video also?
Doesn't look like an art collector...more like an obama voter or one of those sons obama never had.
Is this fake too?
