- Boeing Co’s orders and deliveries sank in the first quarter, with zero new orders for the 737 MAX following a worldwide grounding in March in the wake of two fatal plane crashes.

Total orders, an indication of future demand, fell to 95 aircraft in the first quarter from 180 a year earlier, suggesting a wait-and-watch approach for airlines as Boeing rides out the worst crisis in its history. Deliveries are financially important because that is when planemakers receive the bulk of money from airlines’ purchases.

Boeing’s shares, which have lost about 13% since the crash, were down 1.66 percent at $368.32 in afternoon trading. Boeing said last week it would cut monthly 737 MAX production by 20 percent starting mid-April, without giving an end-date.

Boeing top staff know about problems in their software all these years but remain silent. They are murderers and should be put in jail for man-slaughter. But hey USA is now a shady 4rd world banana republic. no rule of law. just money is the king. realDonaldTrump OneLastDance

And this is a surprise to anyone why?

Because they’ve booked nearly 5K. No one is ordering right not. They’ll get it fixed and be fine.

How many American pilots have crashed this model of the plane? maybe it's a language barrier in the instructions

Eeeerrrm, I wonder why
