This may sound very similar to Tai Chi, and for good reason. As Body & Brain Yoga Tai Chi explains, Tai Chi can be understood as one of the specific applications or forms of Qigong rather than as a separate practice. Along with flowing movements , Qigong involves holding static postures to develop stability and deeper concentration ability.
