Bluesound Reveals Brand New Compact Music System

The Powernode Edge is compact and designed to suit any style of décor. The deal includes a wall bracket that enables the unit to be hidden in a cupboard or behind a sofa. The Powernode Edge is easy to spec and stack. Smart home installers will love the unit’s 1U rack height and half-rack width, along with the touch control panel.

With the capability to handle more than 20 integrated music services and thousands of internet radio stations natively, the sources can be accessed directly on the Powernode Edge and via the BluOS Controller smartphone app. In addition, music libraries stored on the local network can also be played using Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, or plugging a drive into the unit’s USB port....

Multiple Bluesound players around the home can be added to create a multi-room audio system using BluOS. It’s possible to send music from player to player or sync up multiple players to stream the same music for parties and gatherings. Easy control is available via the BluOS Controller app for iOS, Android, Mac or PC, or by using the glass touch panel on the unit for quick-access controls like Play, Pause, and Volume Up/Down.

The Powernode Edge can be integrated with the most popular smart home controllers like Crestron, Control4, URC, RTI, ELAN and others. At the same time, hands-free control is possible using voice assistants like Apple Siri, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.The Powernode Edge sounds like a great product and will make the Bluesound system more affordable and all you need to do is add a pair of speakers to create a very competent sound system.
