Bernie Sanders on Manchin's $11 minimum wage proposal: '$15 an hours is not a radical idea'

's $1.9 trillion stimulus plan. Biden has proposed raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2025 gradually, starting with a jump to $9.50 this year.

Biden himself has reportedly expressed doubt it can happen, but Sanders and other Democrats have signaled their confidence that the minimum wage proposal will be included in the package. Sanders also said Tuesday he expected to hear the parliamentarian's ruling on Wednesday or Thursday.

Instead of the government expecting employers to take care of poverty perhaps the government should just waive ALL taxes for anyone making less than 15.00 per hour? Is the government willing to do what they’re asking employers to do?!?

If we have cost of living raise since 2009 minimum wage would be at $10.09, 6% raise since 2009 we would be at $15 so why no just do $12.75 and get a deal done

Damn America it's like we go from one extreme to the other, can't we find a happy medium with all this shit that's going on. It takes a little give & take to achieve compromise if not then each party should write a resolution on the subject & let the general population vote on it

How is sen sanders statement helpful in convincing sen manchin to go along with the $15 minimum wage?
