Staff at Deutsche Bank flagged transactions tied to entities controlled by Donald Trump and his son-in-law Jared Kushner in 2016 and 2017, according to a New York Times report

WASHINGTON - Anti-money laundering specialists at Deutsche Bank AG recommended in 2016 and 2017 that multiple transactions involving entities controlled by President Donald Trump and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, be reported to a federal financial-crimes watchdog, the New York Times reported on Sunday.

Compliance staff members who then reviewed the transactions prepared so-called suspicious activity reports that they believed should be sent to a unit of the Treasury Department that polices financial crimes, according to the newspaper.Deutsche Bank denied the report. The Times reported the bank employees viewed the decision not to report the transactions as a result of a lax approach to money laundering laws. They said there was a pattern of bank executives rejecting reports to protect relationships with lucrative clients, according to the newspaper.

A spokeswoman for the Trump Organization told Reuters “the story is absolute nonsense.” “We have no knowledge of any ‘flagged’ transactions with Deutsche Bank. In fact, we have no operating accounts with Deutsche Bank,” she said.

DeutscheBank you fired the employee that raised the flag?! 😳😳😳How much bs do you think we can take

News? DB flags 100,000 transactions a year or more. NORMAL. They flagged mine once too. Only minuscule percentage proves to be problematic. Bias

For Deutsche Bank, Trump was too in too deep to report.

What the hell does this mean?

fishing, People need to relax, its not that uncommon to be flagged by over zealous compliance officers. i have had 'the banking relationship terminated' or had to give an explanation for certain transactions... no big deal..

Oh no! Wait, are you trying to imply that the Trumps and the Kushners are white collar crime families? Oh you are. OK, at least we're all on the same page.

Let’s just sweep this new revelation under here like the GOP has done with the rest of the Trump family crimes.

would they have been paid by anyone to do it do you think?

Deutsche Bank Begins Removing Possessions From White House After Trump Defaults On LoanWASHINGTON—As the inconsolable president stood outside in his threadbare robe in the early hours of Wednesday morning, employees sent by Deutsche Bank began removing possessions from the White House after Donald Trump defaulted on his loans, sources confirmed. “Come on, guys, just give me a couple more weeks and I can get the money together—no, not the TV!” said the tear-stricken commander in chief as repossession officers from the German bank carried items including the Resolute Desk, a portrait of Andrew Jackson, and his golf clubs out of the White House, informing him that the bank could no longer wait for him to pay back millions of dollars of debt. “Not the china, that was Reagan’s! Please, you guys know I’m good for it. I have the funds, you have to believe me, I’ve got them tied up in other things. I just have to move some money around. Wait, that’s my favorite chair! If my wife gets home and sees that her beautiful clothes and the Winston Churchill bust are gone, she’s gonna kill me! I’ll get the money—please don’t leave me with nothing.” At press time, the sobbing president was standing barefoot in the empty Oval Office after the Deutsche Bank employees had removed the slippers from his feet. Deutsche Bank is about a million times more likely to be defaulting on loans than Trump. 'Look, you can take Eric, but just leave everything else, alright?' When is the auction?
