Austin police seek help to identify suspect in West Campus aggravated robbery

It happened at around 4:55 a.m. on Monday, May 20 in the 2600 block of North Lamar Boulevard near the University of Texas at Austin campus.

The Austin Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in an aggravated robbery in West Campus in May. It happened at around 4:55 a.m. on Monday, May 20 in the 2600 block of North Lamar Boulevard near the University of Texas at Austin campus.The suspect noticed the victim while driving and pulled to the curb a short distance away. Then exited his vehicle, approached the victim on foot, pointed a gun at them, demanding cash, and then intentionally groped them before fleeing in a black Nissan Frontier pickup truck.
