WSJ News Exclusive | AT&T, Verizon Refuse FAA Request to Delay 5G LaunchAT&T and Verizon have rebuffed a request from federal transportation officials to delay the launch of new 5G wireless services I can understand this, after they have invested so much to get it up and running then to have this last minute request is sort of unfair. Instead, it would be more productive to invest in better airplanes, not ones from the 80s and 90s that have been failing on us. This is a blatant disrespect of the fact that Secretary Pete Buttigieg is a beloved Mayor of the LGBTQ community. So they will refuse FAA requests but still knell to vax mandates. Makes sense. $$$

AT&T and Verizon might delay 5G expansion again over FAA concerns | EngadgetAT&T and Verizon were supposed to resume their 5G expansions on January 5 but might now need to wait two more weeks due to FAA concerns.. When I'm on AT&T 5G on my S21 Ultra it's about the equivalent of 2G. It's a ridiculous let down. I much prefer when I had 4G LTE. Both are garbage now because they can’t keep anyone working. Vax mandates have chased all the hood engineers. I know because I was one.

AT&T and Verizon may have to delay 5G deployments another two weeks over airline safety fearsNew deployments could interfere with altimeters and prevent the use of guided landing systems. Curious to know more..... If 5G was such a concern why aren't the UK and Europe doing the same? I mean the airlines are canceling all the flights anyway. Maybe the telcos should fire up the towers now.

AT&T, Verizon CEOs reject U.S. request for 5G deployment delayThe chief executives of AT&T and Verizon Communications rejected a request by U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg to delay the planned Jan. 5 introduction of new 5G wireless service over aviation safety concerns. Apparently, the Federal Government who controls dishing out permissions for all communication frequencies & allocations forgot their controlling power TO COOPERATE WITH NATIONAL SECURITY REQUESTS, unless we don’t think aircraft falling out of the sky is an emergency profits.
