Subjected to U.S. sanctions under Taliban rule, Afghanistan faces a humanitarian disaster, with 1 million children in danger of dying from malnutrition

MAIDAN SHAHR, Afghanistan—Palwasha didn’t get enough time to pick the names for her twins.

Her son died immediately after birth. Her daughter, born premature and weighing 700 grams, equivalent to 1½ pounds, was put into an incubator at the provincial hospital in Maidan Shahr. Breathing seemed to take all her strength, jerking her little body with each gasp. Two days later, she was gone, too.

Maybe the US should stop participating in genocide then

They murdered their way to power. Now they need us to stop the people they wish to rule from dying. They are responsible for this. They wallow in religious fantasies of rejecting modernity but need modern science, agriculture and economics to keep their people alive.

How many innocent people have died due to the US bullying style of sanctions on Earth? And how many will die in the future?

The people who voted for Biden/Harris are to blame for this disaster.

So much for human rights and being civilized

Who will assure that relief provided will reach to needy persons and will not utilised by terrorist activities

They have what they wanted.

They should have fought for it harder then, they had the equipment but instead they were shortsighted and this is the price the vulnerable will pay. Male chauvinism if you ask me, we need to strive to be more tribal, so women can be set free.
