Apple is coming for your money (again)

The streamer will reportedly launch this November, and it will cost $9.99 a month, per the outlet. Bloomberg writes that AppleTV+ will debut with a small number of shows, expanding its offerings as the service gets its sea legs and acquires more projects. Presumably, will be one of those early offerings, but the series does not yet have a formal release date. A free trial will reportedly be offered at launch.

Bloomberg also reported that Apple is weighing different release models, and might start with releasing three episodes of a new project, then turning to a weekly format. This would be an interesting cross between the all-you-can-eat bingeing model popularized by Netflix, and the steadfast weekly model upheld by traditional networks and cable channels. A spokesperson for the company declined to comment to Bloomberg.

At its March presentation, the company promised a service that would have a skip-intro button that allowed users to watch content ad-free, as well as an option to download content so users can watch anything at any time. Users will also be able to use the platform seamlessly across devices.

Why Apple doesn't want users to replace their own batteriesThe MacBook Pro recall and its subsequent ban from flights underscores the increasing brand risk from problems with lithium-ion batteries. Because it’s hard... I have heard and seen videos of Apple and Samsung products smoking and exploding from poorly designed battery. I have not yet seen a third party battery does that. Maybe these 2nd, 3rd, 4th tier manufacturers are producing better batteries. NotAboutSafety Then don't make it so difficult to replace.
