The Angels gave up two runs in the ninth inning of a 6-5 loss to the Oakland A’s in Tempe, Ariz., and they beat the Arizona Diamondbacks, 7-1, in Scottsdale, splitting a pair of split-squad games on Tuesday afternoon.In Tempe, right-hander Victor Mederos gave up two runs in two innings. Mederos was the Angels’ sixth-round pick last July. … Right-hander Austin Warren pitched a scoreless inning. Warren has nine strikeouts and no walks in eight innings this spring.
