If it’s the latter, taking some kind of action to combat gun violence would seem to qualify as part of their job...

theEricLutz Tell me this? Several people at that school had cell phones. We have Amber Alert, Why not Active Shooter Alerts? The police knew there was a active shooter in the area. Did they inform the school Admin so they could take protective action like checking and locking doors?
