Amanda Kloots has been doing her best to look on the bright side of things while her husband, Broadway starBut Kloots, a celebrity fitness trainer, opened up in a series of Instagram story posts late Monday night that she"broke" and"cried all day basically."
"I broke big time today; at home, at the hospital in front of doctors and while sitting next to Nick," she wrote."I couldn't keep it together."but remains extremely weak and unable to speak, Kloots told followers in a recent update. Since his original diagnosis, Cordero has tested negative for the virus but suffered from a lung infection at the end of last month and remains on a ventilator.
Kloots has kept her more than 351,000 Instagram followers well-informed on Cordero's latest highs and lows and asked fans to keep her husband in their prayers. But she expressed frustration Monday when her husband's hospital status remained unchanged after three months. "I got mad today too," Kloots wrote. "I got mad at God. I'm praying and I have people all over the world praying. I said to my mom and dad, 'Why can't He throw us a bone. I'm sorry but I'm mad at him right now.' I felt bad right after my outburst, but it needed to come out."
She continued:"So how do you overcome it and stay positive? I acknowledge the day I had. It's OK. It's OK to cry, to get mad and say it's not fair. I will keep my faith and keep asking for miracles. I will put my armor back on and walk taller tomorrow. I will do the best I can do and make myself as big as I can."
