Alabama’s greatest 100 football players: 2021 season update

Alabama center Sylvester Croom is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2022.The College Football Hall of Fame put the stamp of greatness on center Sylvester Croom’s time as Alabama’s center in January, when the football shrine included him as a member of its Class of 2022.

Because of his haul of award hardware, Young places No. 30 after producing in 2021 the most-decorated season for a Crimson Tide QB. His awards included the Heisman Trophy, which, based on past winners, appears to virtually assure Young will join Croom in the College Football Hall of Fame someday. Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver John Stallworth makes a touchdown reception against the Dallas Cowboys during Super Bowl XIII on Jan. 21, 1979, in Miami.Stallworth became a Pro Football Hall of Famer with the Pittsburgh Steelers with a career that made him a finalist for the NFL All-Time Team in 2019. He spent 14 seasons with the Steelers and retired as the franchise’s career receptions leader.

Auburn fullback Ed Dyas was enshrined in the College Football Hall of Fame as a member of its Class of 2009.A Wigwam Wiseman All-American at McGill Institute in Mobile in 1956, Dyas was more than a fullback for Auburn, although he was the FWAA’s All-American pick at that position in 1960. He also played linebacker, and as a place-kicker set an NCAA record by making 13 field-goals in 1960.

Nothing is guaranteed when it comes to the weather forecast. I’d say: “was predicted” or “was expected” or “was forecast” instead of “will” as the story uses throughout. Yuck How can we profit?
