Akron man blames auto shop for faulty repair: ‘Your negligence could have killed me’

AKRON , Ohio - “I thought it was going to shatter the windows of the car. It’s screeching, and it’s pulling, my steering is gone,” said Weiss“The same thing happens again, but worse,” said Weiss.

He took the car to Crash Champions on Turkeyfoot Lake Road. The business was one of the preferred shops on the insurance company’s list. “They kind of pushed it off like hey it’s been six months since we did that work, if something was wrong you would have known already.” Weiss says an insurance inspector also confirmed the shop’s new findings. Weiss reached out to the Crash Champions corporate office. He says the director operations gave him false hope.Weiss was told Crash Champions sub-contracted Green Automotive to do the suspension work on his jeep back in September.
