New York "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" first aired on CBS in 1966 and eventually moved to ABC. But this year it will air on Apple TV+.
The TV special, which has aired during Halloween every year for more than five decades is now available for Apple TV+ subscribers, and it will be streamed on the platform on October 30th, October 31st and November 1st.The TV special's addition to Apple TV+ is part of a bigger deal that made Apple TV+ the home for all things"Peanuts.
I'm from Santa Rosa California where Peanuts was born. I skated at Snoopys Ice Irena during my childhood. My kids are 41 42, they've watched each year, now my 2 grandsons watch. This is simply horrible. Cable will probably go up in price again. Geez.
Just wrong!
Will it be replaced with a drag queen story hour tv show?
This suxs.. i would rather it still be on network tv with a giant apple TV logo in the corner or something.. terrible for lower income /older people who don't have the means to watch it on Apple TV even if its 'free' for 3 days
Nice move, Apple.😒
Fuck them.
Leave it to capitalism to ruin public access to viewing Charlie Brown.
