Texas could tighten some natural gas flaring rules by fallTexas as early as this fall could tighten some rules for the controversial practice of natural gas flaring, the head of the state's regulatory commission said on Tuesday. Texas needs Democracy 💯 I’ve never heard of this practice. Very insightful article but I’m still confused on the practice as a whole. Are companies simply burning off (wasting) extra product? If so, why? And if they are flaring the gas as a safety concern, what are these concerns?
