To be more specific, it should be a diet high in refined sugars, fats, and grains. Fruit is not going to disrupt your microbiome. Bagels and pastries, on the other hand, will disrupt your microbiome.

'Wrecks' gut microbes? Really? Like, all of them? That seems to be a far more sweeping claim than the paper is making. It's behind a paywall but I have a hunch that it involved neither doughnuts nor humans.

So that free doughnuts with the covid shots weren't healthy? What about the free big Mac I got with my vax, that had to be healthy.
