Muslims from around the world are fighting for the lives of three preachers incarcerated in Saudi Arabia

With all world religions, there are strains between the ancient heartland and the periphery. A Catholic campus in the American Mid-West feels different from the cloisters of the Vatican; the Buddhism embraced by Californian beach-goers lacks the rigour of a monastery in Thailand or Tibet. But in Islam, tensions of this kind, and the way they are resolved, can literally be a matter of life or death.

The answer to that question provides a revealing snapshot of the state of global Islam. Virtually none of the signatories is based in a Muslim country. Yet among those who enjoy the freedom of the Western world, the theological range is remarkably broad. But more surprisingly, the appeal was initiated by traditionalist scholars, a camp which enjoys the respect of Western governments because of its eloquent critique of terrorism. The traditionalists don’t often intervene directly in earthly affairs, particularly when it comes to Saudi Arabia; this is a rare exception.

funnybuggers

They're stupid people

What about the fate of Uighurs in China ?

I can confirm that only Brotherhood members are supporting those 3 preachers who are part of Brotherhood leading team. by the way, they are under trial now and nothing was issued with regards to their situation. We know that Brotherhood and Dems are trying to release them.

I hear you can get help at the Saudi Embassy in Istanbul

Who are these preachers, are they Sunnis or Shiites? KSA must protect itself from radical preachers.

Off with their heads....

From a purely objective perspective, it sure looks strange to see thousands of people kneeling in circles and praying toward a huge black box.

Better watch it. They might think you’re Iranian.

Two words that don't go together in this sentence; one is 'mercy'.

Ooh🤔🙏

Saudi Energy Conundrum Deepens With Gas DealSaudi Arabia has finally found a deal that makes sense. After forays into Uber and WeWork, state-controlled oil giant Saudi Aramco has lined up a deal to buy liquefied natural gas from U.S. utility Sempra Energy. A cursory review of the chilling documentary 'Gas Land' tends to prove that Natural Gas extraction in the United States on a large scale is simply UNTENABLE. Flammable water in the kitchen faucet? Pets dying from toxic pollution? Due Process violations for property owners? Ugh. It's the Freedom Molecules.
